Schloss Branitz is a historic Late Baroque palace at the heart of the Branitz park ensemble, closely associated with Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, who substantially remodelled the residence after 1846. Unlike a conventional concert hall, it does not have a single large auditorium with a fixed seating capacity; instead, its representative historic rooms accommodate museum visits and selected special events. The preserved architecture and its close relationship with the surrounding designed landscape give the venue a distinctive and intimate atmosphere.

Highlights include the original 18th-century music room, the library, richly decorated Oriental Rooms and salons furnished with historic furniture, ornamental wallpapers and textiles.
