Cronetik Privacy Policy – user data protection and transparency on our information portal

Privacy Policy

Cronetik LLC (hereinafter: "we", "our", or "Cronetik") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to its website www.cronetik.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect user data, especially in the context of our services as an informational and affiliate platform for ticket comparison.

1. General principles

Cronetik.com:
- does not sell tickets
- does not require user registration
- does not collect data that identifies the user except in necessary cases (e.g., contact form)
- does not store passwords, financial data, or personal data without a legal basis

2. What data do we collect?

By ourselves, we do not collect personal user data (name, e-mail, address, etc.) unless the user provides it voluntarily — e.g., when sending a message via the contact form.
For the purpose of a better user experience and site optimization, the following technical data may be automatically collected via cookies and analytical tools:
- IP address
- browser and operating system
- device and screen resolution
- access time and session duration
- pages you have visited
This data does not allow for your personal identification and is used exclusively for statistical purposes and service improvement.

3. Cookies

We use cookies to improve the functionality of the website. Cookies help us:
- analyze traffic and user behavior (Google Analytics)
- display content based on user preferences
- record the user's preferred language
If you do not want to accept cookies, most browsers allow you to disable them. However, disabling them may affect the functionality of certain parts of the site.

4. Affiliate links and partners

Cronetik.com contains links that lead to third-party sites (e.g., ticket-selling services like Viagogo, StubHub, TicketNetwork, etc.).
By clicking on such a link, the user leaves our website, and the collection and processing of data are regulated by the privacy policies of those third parties. Cronetik does not collect, process, or see the user's personal or financial data on partner sites.
Some of these links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if the user makes a purchase through that link. This commission does not affect the price the user pays.

5. Use of collected data

In the event that a user contacts Cronetik via the contact form or e-mail, we will use the data they voluntarily send us exclusively:
- to respond to their inquiry
- for administrative and security purposes (e.g., detecting abuse)
We will never sell, rent, or unauthorizedly share your data with third parties.

6. Security

We take all technical and organizational measures to protect user data from:
- unauthorized access
- loss or destruction
- theft or misuse
The data is stored on secure servers in accordance with current standards and regulations.

7. User rights

The user has the right to:
- request information about what data of theirs we hold (if we hold any)
- request the correction, deletion, or restriction of data processing
- withdraw consent for data processing at any time (if previously given)
To exercise these rights, the user can contact us via e-mail: support@cronetik.com

8. Policy towards children

Cronetik.com is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

9. Changes to the privacy policy

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. The updated version will be published on this page with the indicated date of the last change.
Date of last change: June 19, 2025.

10. User-generated content (comments and reviews)

If a user submits a comment or review, Cronetik collects and processes the following data:
- name or nickname (publicly displayed with the comment)
- e-mail address (required for verification, NEVER publicly displayed)
- the comment text and its language
- IP address at the time of submission and at the time of verification link click
- device identifier (user-agent) and timestamp
Legal basis: explicit consent by the user (checkbox "I agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy") and our legitimate interest in moderating content and preventing abuse.

11. Email verification and IP logging

To prevent spam and fake comments, every comment goes through an email confirmation process:
- The user receives a one-time verification link at the provided email
- If the user does not click the link within 48 hours, the comment is automatically deleted
- We log the user's IP address both at submission and at verification
The IP address is not publicly displayed and is used exclusively for:
- preventing bot attacks and repeat spam (rate limiting)
- potential legal requests (e.g. police requests in cases of threats or defamation)
- internal analysis of moderation quality

12. Compliance with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA)

As an online platform that displays user-generated content, Cronetik complies with the EU Digital Services Act:
- All comments go through manual moderation before public display
- Users can report illegal or inappropriate content by email: support@cronetik.com
- Reports are processed without undue delay
- Authors of comments that are removed receive an email stating the reason (statement of reasons)
- We keep an internal record of moderation decisions for transparency

13. Data retention period

Comments and related personal data (e-mail, IP) are kept for the following periods:
- First year: in active database, full data
- Up to 3 years: in archived form (not publicly displayed, but available for legal purposes)
- After 3 years: automatic anonymization — the comment text remains, but the e-mail address and IP are converted into an unreadable SHA-256 hash
Reason for 3 years: balance between the ability to respond to potential court requests (EU standard for UGC platforms) and the principle of data minimization (GDPR art. 5(1)(c)).

14. Right to erasure

The user can request deletion of their comments at any time:
- Send an email to support@cronetik.com with subject "DELETE COMMENT" (or "BRISANJE KOMENTARA")
- In the message body, state the e-mail address used when posting the comment
- The comment, or all comments from that e-mail, will be deleted within 30 days
- After deletion, the comment is no longer visible to visitors
- Internal audit records (without identifying data) may be kept for moderation transparency
Other user rights (data access, correction, portability, objection) remain unchanged and are described in section 7.
Date of last change: April 19, 2026.
