About this venue

Congress Center Messe Frankfurt is a modern congress centre integrated into the extensive Messe Frankfurt complex and designed for conferences, congresses, corporate events and other large gatherings. Following a major interior redesign in 2020, the venue features open, light-filled spaces and contemporary design spread across four levels. The centre can accommodate approximately 3,400 guests, with the multifunctional Harmonie hall forming its centrepiece and seating around 2,200 people in its largest configuration. Direct connections to other parts of the exhibition grounds provide additional flexibility for larger events.

The interior is designed to support events of very different sizes, from large plenary programmes to smaller meetings and breakout sessions. In addition to the Harmonie hall, the venue offers conference and meeting rooms, a VIP lounge, cloakroom facilities, spacious foyers and integrated bar counters, while modern technical infrastructure allows for different stage, seating and presentation configurations. Wi-Fi, lifts and step-free access to all levels improve visitor comfort, and covered connections to other Messe Frankfurt facilities make movement between event areas convenient.

The venue is located at Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, Frankfurt, Germany, with a dedicated Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage/Congress Center entrance. The Festhalle/Messe underground and tram stop is immediately beside the complex, while two parking levels inside the building provide a total of 466 parking spaces. This location makes it possible to arrive very close to the entrance, while broader information about travelling around Frankfurt can be found in the city description below.

About the city

Frankfurt am Main, known for its striking skyline, is not only a business hub but also a top destination for concerts and sporting spectacles. The city blends big-city energy with relaxed riverside walks, making it easy to pair a night out at an event with a short city break. With a strong range of entertainment options, a wide choice of arenas and stadiums, and lively neighbourhoods, Frankfurt is a great pick for anyone looking for high-level entertainment without unnecessary hassle.

The city prides itself on a highly practical transport setup: the RMV network connects the wider region, while within the city you’ll most often rely on S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Straßenbahn (tram) and buses. Getting in is straightforward for rail travellers via Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof, and for those arriving by air through Flughafen Frankfurt am Main (FRA). Links to the main event locations are excellent, so reaching stadiums and venues such as Deutsche Bank Park, Festhalle Frankfurt or Jahrhunderthalle is typically quick and easy to navigate, with frequent services and clear interchanges.

Take the chance to explore the city before or after the show: stroll through the historic centre around Römerberg, admire the elegant Alte Oper, and enjoy the promenade along the River Main, which combines urban buzz with calmer spots to unwind. Culture lovers often choose the Museumsufer, while for an evening atmosphere Alt-Sachsenhausen is popular for its traditional taverns. If you’re after shopping or simply lively city crowds, Zeil is a must, and for a classic metropolitan feel, just find a good viewpoint over Frankfurt’s skyline.
