Osaka Festival Hall is one of Osaka's best-known concert venues, located within the Nakanoshima Festival Tower complex. The present hall opened in 2013, continuing the legacy of the original Festival Hall established in 1958. With a capacity of 2,700 seats and a stage approximately 30 metres wide, it accommodates major orchestral concerts, opera, ballet, jazz, rock, pop and other large-scale productions. A monumental red-carpeted staircase, spacious multi-level foyer, brick walls and chandeliers give the venue an elegant, almost ceremonial atmosphere from the moment visitors enter.
