About this venue

B-K is a distinctive event centre in Stockholm's Frihamnen district, housed in an industrial building dating from 1927 that was originally used by Banan-Kompaniet. Original brick walls, concrete floors and high ceilings give the venue its characteristic atmosphere, while modern production infrastructure makes it suitable for concerts, conferences, gala dinners and other large-scale events. The entire complex can accommodate approximately 3,750 guests, with its main event space supporting a range of audience configurations.

Inside, the industrial character is combined with contemporary event facilities. The Main Room features a ceiling height of around 7.5 metres, blackout capability and infrastructure designed for demanding concert and stage productions. The complex includes two indoor stages and four bars, while its flexible layout allows the spaces to be adapted to different types of events.

B-K is located by the Frihamnen docks at Frihamnsgatan 14, Stockholm, Sweden. The Frihamnen bus stop is close to the venue, while parking is available in the surrounding area for visitors arriving by car. Once in Frihamnen, access to the venue is straightforward; for a broader overview of transport connections across Stockholm, see the city information further down the page.

About the city

Stockholm, Sweden’s capital spread across an archipelago, is not only a symbol of Scandinavian design and culture but also one of Europe’s most appealing destinations for concerts, sporting fixtures, and major events. The city blends refined urban energy with sweeping views of water and islands, so attending an event often becomes just the centerpiece of a broader experience. With a wide range of neighborhoods, it’s easy to find a place for nightlife, a great meal, or a relaxed walk before and after the program—without feeling like you’re losing time to logistics.

Stockholm prides itself on highly functional transport infrastructure, making it quick and simple to reach the main arenas, venues, and stadiums. Public transport is managed by SL, and visitors most often rely on the Tunnelbana metro, Pendeltåg commuter trains, Spårvagn trams, and bus routes that link key parts of the city. If you arrive by train, the central hub is Stockholm Centralstation (Stockholm C), with especially convenient connections across the city. For those flying in, Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the main international airport, with Bromma Stockholm Airport available as an additional option—making trip planning easy regardless of your travel style.

When you want to add a tourist “bonus” to your event visit, Stockholm offers plenty within easy reach. Stroll through Gamla Stan, the historic heart with narrow streets and squares that create a distinctive atmosphere, or linger along the waterfront promenades and bridges where the city’s character on the water comes through best. For a slower pace, there are walkways and parks on the islands, and many visitors also choose museum-and-greenery areas such as Djurgården to round out the day before heading back to the venue or after the show ends.
