Longmont Theatre Company operates at the Longmont Performing Arts Center, a theatre venue housed in a distinctive building dating from 1939. Originally opened as the Fox Theatre and later known as the Trojan Theatre, the building is an example of Art Deco architecture and forms part of downtown Longmont's cultural heritage. Longmont Theatre Company acquired the property in 1990 and converted it for the performing arts. The auditorium now seats approximately 287 people, creating an intimate setting for plays, musicals, comedy, music and other live performances.
The compact auditorium keeps the audience close to the stage, while theatrical lighting and sound systems support a variety of stage productions. The venue is wheelchair accessible with designated seating areas, and refreshments and snacks are available during selected events, particularly at intermission.
